As Staffordshire Clubs for Young People is a registered charity (N° 522814), we do not receive any statutory financial support; we are an organisation which relies on donations, grants and our own annual fundraising activities. Without our generous sponsors and supporters the charity could not operate so it’s really important that we continue to raise vital funds to keep up the valuable and worthwhile work that we do at Staffs CYP.

To run a youth club for a year, one night per week, it costs around £4,500 in staffing, venue and operational costs. The youth clubs get young people off the streets doing something positive like playing sports, arts/crafts, cooking sessions, film nights, board games and volunteering. To run a holiday club one day per week throughout the holidays costs £1,600 per annum, a day’s bell boating at Rudyard Lake costs £270, a night’s indoor climbing session costs £80; even sponsoring a youth club for a month will cost £450.

However much or little you feel able to donate, we really appreciate your support. You can make a difference to young people’s lives, giving them something positive to do, somewhere to go and some fun in their lives. Donations can be made by BACS transfer, PayPal or by cheque, as follows:

Staffordshire Clubs for Young People will receive an extra 25p for every £1 you donate under the Gift Aid Scheme, at no extra cost to you.
