Engaging young people in positive activities is a key priority to Staffs CYP, and working in partnership with Matthew Ellis, Staffordshire Police Fire Rescue and Crime Commissioner, on the 2018 SPACE programme saw young people of Staffordshire Moorlands and Newcastle taking part in lots of great and exciting activities over the 6 week summer period.
Space is all about giving young people the opportunity to build on their skills, improve their fitness and get involved in some fun, positive activities. What’s not to love? when you’re bouncing in a Zorb ball, fishing on the banks, riding roller coasters at Drayton Manor Park, hitting the hills on a mountain bike, racing in a dragon boat at Rudyard Lake and much, much more, Staffs CYP delivered 32 fun action packed sessions to make young people’s summer a summer they will never forget.
